J Day Engineering was recently recommended to me by a friend when I was struggling to get my Discovery correctly diagnosed and fixed. I had previously taken the car to two garages that were unable to get to the root of the problem. It was a breath of fresh air to deal with James and his team. They are polite, friendly and extremely efficient. I have just collected the car and driven 500 miles in it, all of the issues have been resolved and I’m very grateful. I had an issue with my dated Honda when the back box separated from the centre pipe, the joint had rusted. My first thought was to take it to Yeovil, but a friend recommended J Day in Henstridge. I booked an appointment and was very pleased with the care and attention I received, even being driven home whilst the work was carried out. Later that day I was contacted that the work had been completed and I would be able to collect my car. Cannot thank the team enough at J Day as the repair was first-class.

Can’t speak highly enough of this company. The car broke down on Tuesday night as we arrived at a friend's, seized brake calliper. Rang them in the morning, dropped the car off at 10:30 and work was all completed by 17:00. Fantastic service and some of the friendliest and most helpful staff I have come across in a long time. Cannot recommend J Day Engineering enough, really friendly and approachable, my car looks absolutely flawless after the door hit a wall with quite a nasty dent. Was given a courtesy car for a few days for no extra charge, which was perfect. The pricing is really reasonable and they have a flexible payment option which has really helped! Defnitely go here!

J.Days replaced the front disc and pad replaced on my Audi A3 that I was advisory on the cars MoT in February. They provided me with an estimate for the work that was necessary and carried it out for the price they had quoted. I have use them for the past 9 years to service my current Audi and and a SAAB 93 I previously owned and trusted the advice they have given me. I have found their estimates to be always reliable and the cost of the final bill, so no surprises or hidden extras. I would highly recommends the service they provide and have every confident in the advice they have given over the years. I consider their charges are competitive and they provide value for money when the quality of their servicing is taken into account. I have also uses their tyre replacement and balancing service which was excellent. As I live in a village close to their workshop and they are happy to collect and return my car without charge, which I find convenient.

I'd never used this garage before, and will definitely be using them again! I phoned to book a MOT, and they had availability the same day. All staff were really friendly & helpful. As I sat & waited for the MOT to be completed, I noticed they'd recently won an award, and I can see why, their service was great. Can't recommend them more highly.
